What’s included?


The GAIN Investment Insight Program is your chance to get insight and access to the Investment Management industry trough:

9 virtual seminars

learn about investments and gain real insights from professionals in the industry. Each week focuses on a new topic, from valuation models to impact investing.  

Online coursework

expand your knowledge and understanding of each topic with the help of our tailored digital learning journey.  

3 small group mentoring sessions

a mentor from the investment industry will support you and your teammates.  

1 in person kick-off day in Stockholm

(September 2026): Meet the GAIN team, the program mentors, and the other students in the program. Begin your investment deep-dive by attending introductory seminars.  

1 in person Insight day in Stockholm

(November 2026). The grand finale of the GIIP! Exclusive visits to top investment firms, network with professional investors and present a stock pitch with your team.  

Timeline

This all takes place mid-September to mid-November 2026, online and in-person.

What you’ll gain…

By the end of the GIIP, you will walk away with:


Practical skills in financial statement analysis and company valuation, combining quantitative analysis with qualitative assessment of businesses, and learning how to interpret the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. 

A deeper understanding of the investment sector as an ecosystem and its role in supporting innovation, companies, and economic growth.  

Hands-on experience presenting an investment case through a professional stock pitch.  

Insight into career paths within investment management, supported by guidance and mentoring from industry professionals 

A GIIP Graduate Certificate (for those who complete all requirements*) 

A strong and supportive network of ambitious peers and investment professionals.  

*To graduate, participants must attend at least both in-person sessions and 80% of online sessions, complete the stock pitch, coursework, and feedback form.

FAQs


No! GIIP is designed for beginners – all you need is curiosity and motivation.

No — the programme is completely free.

Applications for GIIP Sweden are open from 12th of March to early August. You’ll need to complete a short application form, which will be reviewed by our team.We’re looking for intellectually curious individuals who love learning, are strong communicators and team players, and are genuinely interested in exploring investment management as a future career.Please note that GIIP is a competitive program, and unfortunately we can’t offer places to everyone who applies.

You’ll need to attend 9 virtual sessions (around 1–2 hours each), 3 mentoring meetings, 1 in-person event in September and 1 in November. Plan for around 2–3 hours a week during the program.

Yes. If you’re selected for the program and attend the insight days, you may be eligible for bursary support to cover travel or accommodation costs. Email; Emmy@gainsweden.org for more information.

To receive your GIIP Graduate Certificate, we ask for at least 80% attendance and participation. But even if you can’t make everything, you’ll still gain valuable experience.
